The fertilizers are used on the soil or directly on the plant to support soil’s productiveness and enhance crop development. Granular Fertilizer
Each granule in our chemically granulated products contains all the nutrients registered for that product. This means that all these nutrients are distributed uniformly across the entire field.
The granule itself is physically hard and homogenous, virtually dust free and ideally suited to precision planters. These granules contain high concentrations of secondary nutrients like calcium, magnesium and sulphur in immediate plant available form.

Liquid Fertilizer
Kalahari Worx can rightfully claim to be one of the reliable source of liquid fertilizer in Africa. A full range of liquid products, similar to the granular fertilizer range, is produced at our strategically placed liquid fertilizer plants.
Our liquid factories and warehouses are positioned in major farming locations in order to expedite delivery to our clients.

Our liquid products contain the correct ratios of ammonium, nitrate and urea as nitrogen source and are customised to specifically address crop and grower needs.
The applicators for these products are fully serviced by qualified field technicians, who assist farmers with the application. For our farmers’ convenience, broadcast applications are also available.
Ammonia gas
Ammonia gas (N-Gas) contains the highest concentration of nitrogen and reacts with water to form ammonium hydroxide. It can be applied as part of a pre-plant or general fertilizer programme.
This is an ideal option for farmers who do not have the necessary storage facilities for fertilizer as it is applied using special equipment supplied by Kalahari Worx.
Benefits of Kalahari Worx’s N-Gas
The benefits of N-Gas include:
- High concentration nitrogen source, which requires lower application rates, easy handling and less transport cost
- Calibration is checked on a regular basis by Kalahari Worx
- Less nitrogen leaching in soils low in clay while in the ammonium form. Larger soil volumes will be enriched with pressurised ammonia gas which reacts immediately with soil moisture. Plant roots respond extremely well to the nitrogen rich zones;
- Kalahari Worx implements are used for application
- Can easily be used in a plant nutrition programme with other plant nutrients (granular or liquid fertilizer);
- Variable rate ammonia gas application is possible
- Theft is minimised
- Can be applied up to six months prior to planting
